From the Aargau Teachers’ Association alv, 18 members of the Technical Design group visited the Maker Studio on Nov. 2. 2019.
They were interested in participating in two workshops, which were led by lab managers as part of a 3-hour information event.
The participants learned about the 3D drawing program TINKERcad before being shown how to work with the 3D printer.
In the second part, they were able to gain experience with the Silhouette Studio software and see how foils can be cut using the cutting plotter and ironed onto textiles.
Afterwards, they were able to gain an insight into the following offers of the MakerStudio in a small exhibition: MakerBoxes on the two topics of “Casting chocolate” and “Smart clothing” as well as the electronics prototyping project “MakerClock”.
